Are there any common problems with the Samsung Rant cell phone?

I used to own an LG Rumor and loved it, but it turned out to be a piece of crap. Everyone else that had one had the same problem: the internal charging port would break off, and it wouldn't be covered under warranty. So I've had crappy phones since the loss of my Rumor, and I'm looking for another phone to love! I've found the Samsung Rant and many good reviews on the little phone. Since I loved the Rumor's setup and design, and people say the Rant is a Rumor upgrade, I'm thinking of buying it. But, I'm scared that I'll be paying for another phone with common problems and a constant need to be repaired.
So, be honest, are there any common problems with the Rant that I should know about before purchasing it? I can't afford phone insurance, so I need to find a problem-free phone:)

I have the Rant. Here are the problems I have: It butt dials like no other, it has a lock on it, but if a person texts you all you have to do is push the little call button on accident and it calls your friend. You get your messages super late, I have to call my voice mail every couple minutes to rev up my message in box. The keypad is kinda irritating cause of the b and the space are so close. This is the second Rant I have had since the screen broke on the other Rant I had. Oh and also I have about five contacts that I have to delete A WEEK cause it like types in its own. So thats my take on it. I mean if its free then I wouldnt say no completely, I mean check out your other options. But since you said your buying it I wouldnt at all spend it on a better phone.
