I'd like to know how to make goggles or how to engrave, solder, and generally make steampunk outfits, but I have no idea where to learn this stuff. Internet tutorials only go so far, and I'd rather have a teacher with me to point out what the hell I'm doing before something goes horribly horribly wrong.
There were a few steampunk tutorials at Anime Con but they all assumed their audience knew the basics...which I don't. I'm a complete novice who's tired of trolling Etsy and wants to try to make some of this crazy shit herself.
