for example am I not legally allowed to eat a dog/ cat or is it just frowned upon by society? Excluding endangered animals that you're not allowed to kill, i.e bald eagle
P.S I don't actually want to eat a dog it's just an interesting question....
Would it be possible to raise dogs or cat for slaughter for food in the sense that a cow or chicken is? I would guess this would be animal cruelty, eventhough the quality of life would be better than a farm animal but because we attach a sense o humanity to these particular animals it wouldn't be acceptible. Any thoughts?
