children volunteer opportunities? I am willing to pay up to 2000 dollars for any opportunity to volunteer in africa with wildlife. hopefully with no prior education.

or

work with kids in africa and i am still willing to pay for all my flights and food and stuff.

i'm not stupid and i'm not trying to get a free vacation where i can help out. i am a senior in highschool and i've heard of a couple other students being able to do this and i'm really interested. i am also cpr/aed and first aid certified so i'm not just randomly jumping into something for it to look good on a resume or transcript. i love working with animals and kids and it would really be a great experience. thanks for all the feedback!

Your best bet would be on South Africa or Kenya. I've heard these are most civilized countries which care the most about their environment. I've heard they try to protect an elephants, and lions, but don't have latest info. Madagascar is my dream island. If I would go to Africa, I will go to Madagascar for sure. There are many countries that have corrupted government and in the war rage like Somalia, and very poor like Zimbabwe, these don't care much about animals or children much.
On the other hand my sister and her husband were living in Cote d'Ivoire and in Touba Senegal for 2 years in each. They like it, but not that much to come back. But I don't think it was related much with the countries them selves, it's just the way my sister like to live at home much more then traveling.
I guess it's all depends on personality, and if you do like an adventure, and want to help people, it doesn't mater where you go for that. So I would just Google on info about the countries and go there do my things, whatever I want to do, and go meet the world. As long as you have open and adventurous soul, you will be fine, and you will find your path in life.
