Are there always employees at every job that have something to complain about?

some people are fundamentally unhappy and enjoy griping, yes.

And since no job anywhere is perfect, there is always something that can be complained about if a person wants to look at things from a negative view. Of course, some jobs (or companies) ARE worse than others, so sometimes the complaints are valid.

I worked in retail in a grocery store for the first 3 years of my working life. I was going to college for a biology degree and planned to go into a medical/science related field (I'm now going back to school for a professional licensure in the department I work in)...

I started working in a top ten hospital 2 years ago, and I've loved it. I don't know if it's that I love it compared to my grocery store job and that they give us such good benefits, lots of Paid time off and just all around I feel like they "take care of us".. there are still SO many people around me that still complain about it. They say that other hospitals are so much better to work for and pay more.. and they criticize the management about everything! I'm like.. dude.. if you worked where I worked before you wouldn't be complaining. Then some say they have and that the grocery store life is better. I'm like seriously?

Are there always people that complain no matter how good the company is? It's starting to get on my nerves. I'll start thinking about what they say pretty hard, until Saturday when it's quiet around here and I realize that they're just being dumb.
