Or are people who make such claims only lying in an attempt to appear more than just human?
I use the term "suffer" due to the fact that if there is no outlet for it, some level of suffering does result. I can only assume that for those who are married or in committed relationships wherein they have not chosen to abstain, it is less a problem than it is for those of us who sleep alone...

I'm not self-absorbed at all. It's just that quite often when someone claims to be completely free of temptation, it is in response to myself or someone else having difficulty in suppressing it, as if they are trying to express their superiority in claiming not to be afflicted by such earthly things.
