I am from the US, and my father, who is a lawyer, tells me that in Canada, because of the free health care system, people have to wait up to half a year just to get an x-ray, CRT scan, or an MRI. Is this really true? I've people say this claim is blown out of proportion. I'd like Canadian citizens to answer this question so I can know for sure.
Are the wait times for medical tests in Canada really as long as some Americans claim?
