Probably not. They usually close schools over a sprinkling of snow, and there must be an inch out there! If people see a hint of snow they don't usually bother turning up to school anyway.

Secondary schools are more likely to close.
When I guess on school closings it's based on snow fall accumulation, ice, and wind chill. If any of those are high... then I would guess no school.
The only way to find out for sure is to listen to your local radio station with the school closings or check the local news website. But either way you'll still have to get up early to check. So enjoy your snow day and go sledding, skiing, or even build a snowman.
