Are the same ppl whining about corp greed the same ones that get paychecks and use

goods from them? If so why are they such hypocrites?
Bob, I'd go get counseling but chance are OMG a private business would be proving my it. And since they are evil, I cant bring myself to do it.

Considering that private industry in the country employs far more than any other entity I'd love to know how they are responsible for unemployment.
And to add, corps that aren't greedy and even some that are provide food shelter and medical for just about every person in the country. They are so horrible for that huh.
Hmm Homegirl. You don't use the goods you purchase, so you just buy them and the sit there? Thanks for the clarification that we buy goods, I don't think anyone could have figured that out without your profound statement.

Also your understanding of the causes of the recession aren't anywhere near correct and professing them makes you look foolish. The recession wasn't caused by a sudden boycott of consumer purchasing. lol.

I'm getting pretty tired of the vilification of private industry when the same ppl complaining are the ones suckling from its teat. Its comparable to the "keep the government out of health care but don't touch my medicare statement".

Its akin to I hate private corps but pretty much everything I have comes from them. Car, House, food, everything.

Yes they are, and the REASON they are such hypocrites is because they think that if they whine about it, they will get bigger paychecks and get goods cheaper from them. And of course the corporations aren't in a position to complain...because they're rich! This is all just an excuse to get more.

People get a paycheck from them and use their products...but it's not enough. That, in my opinion is the real hypocrisy.

People are complaining about the greed of the corporations...when by doing so, they are getting greedy themselves.

Of course they won't have as much as the corporations, then the positions will be reversed, but they are sucking the corps for everything they have.

Corporate greed? REALLY?!

Yes, they are

I, however, am grateful for the jobs, products and services that corporations provide

Some choose to bite the hand that feeds them...Unless that hand belongs to the government...

So you've got Stockholm Syndrome. It's understandable. There is professional counseling you can get for that. Once you realize that it is the corporate greed that leads much of the nation into debt and unemployment you will find yourself to be happier. Enlightenment does that.

Most Americans work for small businesses, state, local, and federal governments. Not major corporations.
So usually, no. They're not hypocrites.. and even if they were, it's not a damning hypocrisy. A man needs to eat.

Most of the comments regarding corporate greed are in reference to health insurance companies. Their profits have increased by 400% in the last decade, premiums have risen by 30-40%, while payment for care has been denied, people have been refused treatment for pre existing conditions and million can no longer afford the increased premiums. Whining? The American public should be marching on Washington!

The American public is not "using" goods from corporations, they are "buying" goods from corporations, in many cases dangerous products. Go see the movie Food, Inc., you won't be able to enjoy your meals for weeks.

But you do have a point-we should stop buying products manufactured by these corporations...oops, we did that and now we are in a recession. Do you have any other brilliant economic theory to pass on?
