Are the people who say that a person without health insurance should "Get a

job!" also saying? that they believe that all employers should be required to offer health insurance to all employees?

If not, then their "Get a job!" answer doesn't make sense, because people born with pre-existing conditions can't normally buy individual coverage. They require health insurance through an employer because employer based coverage must usually cover all employees.

But if employers weren't required to offer health insurance, how would getting a job help?
P.S. Many of them already do have jobs.
SinDelle Morte: No, they can't buy insurance themselves, because they were born with a pre-existing condition. Insurers won't sell them any insurance. The only way they can get insurance is if their employer offers it because nearly all employment based plans are required to cover all employees regardless of a pre-existing condition.
