Thought I'd bring up something else other than the constant 100-a-day Miami Heat questions. So what do you guys think of the New-Looked Nets?
BQ: Do you think that they can make the playoffs as a possible 7th or 8th seed?
Stat: I didn't say that the Nets are going to be contenders. I was saying that they're going to show the NBA that they're nothing compared to the 12-70 Nets team from last season. As you can see, they have won their 1st 2 games of the season. Last year, they didn't win their 2nd game until late December. While the Nets are not contenders now, I think they can still make the playoffs. Even if they do get spanked by the Heat or Celtics, at least they made the playoffs and can be a 35+ win team with the talent that they have now. 35+ wins would be a BIG improvement over the 12 win Nets team from last season.
By the way Stat, the Pistons are NOT rebuilding. Why do you think they still have guys like T-Mac, Gordon, Wallace, Villanueva, Hamilton, Prince and Stuckey on the team? Doesn't look like a "rebuilding" team to me.
