...typical University.? I've read several books, studies, and interviews regarding the hookup culture prevalent among today's generation of college aged individuals. One thing that bothers me is the samples they use all seem to have the same demographic. Upper income white students who go to expensive, prestigious schools like Dartmouth, GW, Duke.
My question is, can the conclusions made from the data gathered from these samples be applied to the more typical, large, state universities. (e.g. OU, FSU, NCSU, etc.)
Some good answers so far. I would also be interested in students familiar with the studies who go to a typical university to comment on their own findings and opinions of their school.
