Are the Britsh at fault for the conflict betwen Pakistan and India?

alot of people from both countries tell me that when Britian's colonization added to the tension between indai and pakistan is that true
 
No,you can blame Ghandi for that.He ran the British out of India.When they departed a civil war began between Hindus and Moslems that cost the lives of over a million people.Had the British remained,those people would not have died.There is a lot to be said for colonialism.There is nothing to be said for Ghandi.
 
Basically the conflict between Pakistan and India is religious and would have happened whether the British colonized or not.
