Are Tenants Responsible for Addendum Concession Agreement when Lease terminated per...

...Military Orders? My husband and I entered into a lease agreement with an apartment in Washington State while my husband was enlisted in the military. This lease agreement included a concession agreement where we received X amount and if we subsequently failed to fulfill the terms of the lease we had to pay back X amount. We terminated the lease due to husband's PCOS (Permanent Change of Station) Military Orders and were not responsible for termination fees.

Are we responsible for paying back the amount under the Addendum evern though by law we can terminate lease without penalty due to military orders?

Yes, you are responsible for the early concession. You can terminate the lease early without penalty, but you don't get to keep concessions given to you under the assumption that you will fulfill the entire lease.
