Are republicans forgetting that they are the party that claims Political

Correctness is a joke? The comment made by Reid a year ago was not said to offend Obama, even if Reid didn't use the politically correct term for African American. It's not like Reid used the mother of all N words. If you want to get technical about it,the word Ne*gro was used by Martin Luther King Jr in his I have a dream speech. Not appropriate today, given, but it certainly wasn't used in a racist manner.

Reid had a good point. There are some racists out there who wouldn't vote for a black man if he had an African American dialect. Heck, just being half black worked against Obama's favor in the eyes of racists. Is it wrong to ponder on a person's electability? I think not. Obama wasn't offended, so what is the problem?

I don't know what the big issue is among repubs. Aren't they the ones who are constantly saying political correctness is a joke? Are they saying that politicians shouldn't reflect upon a candidates electability? Or is this, as I suspect, another pathetic attempt to score minute political talking points?
