Are Regular wet Batteries (non-sealed) dangerous for car audio, Mine is in the cab

thanks for all your input, But what would you suggest that is really good for the money. I know about kinetic and optimas but i need something good for the price thanks
 
Yes they are. They need to be in a sealed battery box that is vented to the outside otherwise fumes from charging will be in the cabin. They are highly explosive and one spark could blow up the car. Sparks such as HVAC motors, power windows, etc. If the battery is in the cab or trunk then the battery box must be used.
