Are porn and online adult chat considered cheating?

I have a boyfriend who looks at porn. I didn't really care at first, although I just found out that he's connecting to people on yahoo chat rooms that have sexual names - it shows up in my computer window as "connected to" updates to his user name and I did not pry or use his computer to find out this information.

Now it's really starting to bother me...are these things considered cheating? I asked him about it and he said that his account must have been hacked - that is probably untrue (he just forgot to hide his updates when chatting with me on yahoo messenger).

The relationship is bordering on serious - 1 1/2 years.
Am I overreacting?

i think everyone watches porn, but i think the chatting can be considered cheating...but make sure incase he's just talking to these people as friends, because sometimes i use really provocative names just to get people talking...don't ask why i'm an idiot. lol

Definitely Not! He has no right to engage in sexual chats with strangers in chat rooms. Yes that is considered cheating and it's the principal that counts.
