Are Playstation Network North America PS3 DLCs/Add-ons work on Region 2 and 3 games?

I have PS3 games in R2 and R3. I am a member of the Playstation Network North America. I want to download some add-ons for my R2 and R3 games, the problem is that I don't know if those add-ons will work with my games since the regions are different (e.g. PSN US is R1). Thank you all in advance!
