Abiogenesis, and Evolution? willfully ignorant or just plain stupid? Are those who confuse the idea of the Big Bang with the Theory of Evolution just being trolls, or are they really that brainless and uneducated?
@elyse... you're honest. That's a good thing. So, for you:
The Big Bang... the universe began as a primordial singularity. That singularity expanded at a very rapid rate, and the result is the universe.
Abiogenesis... A field of study that considers the possiblity that, under certain conditions, amino acids and then proteins could form, combine, and start the process of life on planet earth.
Evolution... A theoretical model that is used by scientists in an effort to explain the diversity of life on this planet, going back for millions and millons of years.
@dave... I don't mind being thought of as a bit arrogant. I have been playing around on these boards for a couple of years, and the ignorance that gets posted is grotesque.
