Are people still falling for that climate change crap?

I haven't heard anything in regards to climate change blow up in the media as of late. Are people still falling for this or is this a non-issue?
Yeah, it just doesn't appear to be changing on a large scale. I really doubt that humans can manipulate the weather anyways.
How are they taking action? Throwing heavier taxes on doesn't seem like a logical solution. If CO2 was that dangerous of a pollutant, banning cars, burning of coal, electricity and the printing of tabloid magazines would be appropriate action.
 
They are really sucking up in California where they are continuously fighting wildfires and mudslides in quick succession. Then there was the drought in the Southeast followed by a year of flooding rains. Floods occurring in Georgia where no floods have happened before.
