Are people having a little too much fun with photo shop lately :-)?

I tried that, put dick cheney's face on a real d!ck...my YA! account was suspended. Go Figure!

it is a common feature in forums. While yahoo Answers does not want to be just like forums. it is treated as one by most users.

I don't believe i have been to a forum that has ability to show pictures that did not include photo shopped pictures. During the last 8 it was mostly pictures of Bush, often as a Nazi. Now its Obama, and he is dictator like. it seems to fit better.

LOL! I completely agree. There seem to be a lot of avatars mocking Obama. I've seen Obama in a pied piper hat, a Hitler mustache, a 1930s style black man, Obama as Jesus, Obama as Bush... you get the idea.

Plus I've seen endless number of variations on Obama slogans (Hope becomes Dope, Change becomes Chains, Yes we Can becomes No we Cant).

The funny thing is - these neocons expect people to take them seriously when it's obvious they have the mentality of children.

BTW - the same goes for Democrats.

Who knows. Folks are misguided, and they are desperately trying to be heard, so they use whatever means they have to get their message out there. It really sucks, because that and the lack of trustworthiness that has permeated our society is exactly what got us here. My Wife tells me that most folks who flip out, and need to get help are just looking for someone, anyone, to hear them out, and actually give a rats behind about the way they feel. In our society, we have placed less and less value in respecting the opinions of the individual citizen, and hearing them out. Even though many folks in the mental health field make it look like they're listening, they don't care. They just write a prescription and make them more docile, when in fact, most folks in such a position are justifiably angry or scared, or just plain worried...no pill will aleviate those, but a listening friend will always help, as will daily prayer. Sadly, no one makes a nickel off of the things that actually work.

well, i learned recently that almost ALL magazine covers and even most magazine photos in general are photo-shopped.

I find this to be completely unacceptable and a form of fraud. While i can't do anything directly about it, i refuse to buy all magazines until there is a law criminalizing all photo doctoring.
