and your vehicle? To start off, I live in Ontario so this pertains to Canadian law. If I have pending criminal charges against me and a police officer just randomly runs my plate number when I am driving and sees that I have pending charges, does the officer then have the probable cause to pull me over, take me out of the car, search me and the inside of my vehicle? This happened to someone I know and I can't imagine that this could be legal. I would classify this as harassment yet I was wondering if anyone actually knows the law regarding this. Thank you for your input.
