Are Packard Bell laptops good and reliable?

There's a special offer on 15.6'' Packard Bell laptops with 4gb memory for 479 Euro, they're normaly 599 Euro. I was thinking about getting a sony vaio but a 15.4'', 3gb sony vaio is 699 Euro...Any suggestions/opinions?
