Are Obama's Healthcare Reforms Going To Put Pharmaceutical Reps Out Of Business?

Some of them will be let go and the remaining ones won't have such liberal budgets. R&D will suffer as well. If they can't make the money back before the generic companies can start producing then you won't see as many new drugs being developed.
 
The industry has been downsizing them for years (less than half the number of 10-15 years ago)--an effort to negotiate prices down should reduce the numbers further. Plus now that the reps can't give out as many free "goodies" there is really no need for them. Changing times...

yes,a lot of doctors will also be going out of business because they will be forced to things they don't want to do.They are already going to make doctors do abortions even if the doctor does not believe in them.They good doctors to murder children legally.There will be so many lawsuits after Obama gets booted out of office it is not even funny.If you think the lines at the hospitals are long now just wait until he nationalizes health care.People are going to be dying from infections because they will not be able to get the proper health care they need.This has already happen in Europe or some place like that.A woman went in for an infection on her arm, the doctor so backed up just seen her for about 3 minutes then gave her a prescription for something different then what she had.Before the family new it she was dead within a week not realizing he gave her the wrong antibiotic.This happens all the time in places where health care is nationalized.
 
Good golly I hope not. My dad is one, though I understand why downsizing seems appropriate.
 
I hope they do....it makes no since how much my mothers medicine cost and she has health insurance
