Are new razr models much better then v3?

hello everybody, I see big price variation between phones but I can't make out why? so for noob using prepaid card, would buying newer model make any difference?

Does v3 key annoy, I tried it and hated it, is it just me, newer model have good buttons, more comfortable?

I already have ipod, so I'm not looking for added features, so is going for new motorola models worth it?
 
brand new 80gb ipod that I just bought so mp3 or video capacity is not important to me, and I am leanning toward slider phone but I would still like to have customizable rigntones, good camera, and quality screen and the ability to sync with computer so which phone fulfills my requirement?
 
If you already have an iPod, what other features do you want? You must have some wants? Bluetooth? Camera?
Personally, if you don't care, then just take the free phone. If you look hard, just about every carrier offers a Motorola phone for free.
