Ok, I just discovered that I was a beneficiary to an 2001 Honda Accord LX.

So I picked up the car and filled out all the paperwork, and took a look at the car.

I found that in the dash cluster, where the speedometer, gas gage, and all those other gages, the lights are completely out.

How can I fix it, if I can fix it? It's a nice car in great condition, and I'd like to keep it.

Also on one of the windows the tint has a huge gash in it (my ex had a daughter who threw horrible tantrums) how can I take off the cheep Walmart tint myself, until I'm ready to spent the cash for the pros to do it?
No other lights are out in the car and I did try the dimmer.

To remove the tint, spray amoniac and let it stan for a a while, it will peel off easy, the rest of the glue will come off with a blade, make sure to protect for the over spray.
On the tach light it may be the fuse if not you will need to remove the dashboard, good luck

Take a razor blade to the tint...They make bulbs for the dash lights...They could just be burnt out...

First make ture the taillights work. the dash light circuit comes off of the taillight circuit and has their own fuse.

Second make sure that the dash lights dimmer knob is all the way ON,

get in the car, at night,

turn on parking lights,

mess with dash light dimmer switch.

If it STILL fails, then look into fuses.

It`s highly unlikely that anything else is wrong with them.

the dash light problem could be one of many things.it could be either the fuse is out or the wiring is messed up. also the main circuit could be out. i have the same problem in my car and it would cost me about 200-250 bucks just to figure out the problem, i bought little hed lights that you just plug in to your cigarette lighter. as for the tint, take a hair drier and heat up the tint and just peel it off.
