...convert a F.R. to a D.H. bike? Given the nature of a freeride bike, I would assume that it could handle most aspects of a downhill race since the differences between the bikes arent that much. In that case, can a slightly moded freeride handle most downhill runs or even be used in a DH race? Secondly, (aside from issues with cost) can a freeride be turned into a downhill and vice versa by changing the front suspension and tires or are they two different types of bike frames altogether?
