Are Mazdas good cars. Or do they suck like fords since ford owns mazda?

I want to buy a mazda 3. But i found out that ford owns mazda and i cant stand ford. All of there cars suck they are made to shit and have no resale value. So are mazdas they same way?

I dislike Ford cars too....Like their trucks but none of their cars. I now have a 2010 Mazda 3 GS. I have close to 3000km on it now and loved putting everyone one of those 3000 on it. Great car to drive
