Honda is number 1 in reliability.
Subaru is 2nd.
Toyota is 3rd.
Mazda is 4th.
Nissan is 5th.
And either in 10th or 11th place was Ford.
Near the bottom of the list was Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep vehicles.
So the Mazda and Nissan's are very reliable.
The Mustang is Ford's least reliable and most problematic car. Ford's reliable cars are the new Ford Focus, which is a Mazda 3 and the new Ford Fusion, which is really a Mazda 6, and their F150 and Ford Escape are reliable too.
You can't go wrong with a Mazda or Nissan. And the Mazda is very sporty and handles like a sports car. Lots of fun to drive. But the Nissan is cheaper to maintain.
