Are Marchesini rims pretty strong?

I ran through a 2-3" dip in the road at ~15mph. It was a square cutout from construction. It was quite a jolt but I don't notice notice any damage.

Yep - they are pretty strong - but by no means the strongest. You've got he stronger ones (aluminium I presume) and the magnesium ones are the more precious ones.

i ve taken a real big hit on front[in the snowy mts], substantial at speed.didnt come off!![dont know how i didnt} front tyre survived[thought it would of got sliced. rim did get slightly bent out of round. cost a couple hundred to have repaired once home.hj

Asking a question. I don't see visible damage, how do I know if it's still proper?

Treat it like a bicycle wheel...put the bike on stands, spin the wheel and see how true it is

Took me 8 yrs to finally bend the rear magnesium one on my R1....metal fatigue I guess,otherwise very strong.
