Are Macs Compatible with Flash and Adobe?

I am saving up for a new laptop, and this is basically the deciding factor. I was pretty set on getting a mac, until I started using a friend's. I went on myspace, and the music wouldn't play due to not having flash. I went on hulu (I believe) and it also said I needed to install something. This could all be a matter of just not having updated software, but I really need to know. Thanks.
Thanks! Also, I think that Adobe and Flash MAY have been previously installed, but just not updated.
 
Adobe makes products for both Apple and PCs. Your friends obviously have not updated theirs. Don't place your opinion on someone else's out-of-date equipment and software. You will have to have Adobe if you play to use streaming video or even watch YouTube.

Your friends mac is out-of-date and has not installed flash.
All mac's run flash, in fact.
Most adobe products run BETTER on a mac. :]
