They cost more than regular college but have less restrictions on who can go.
Technical schools are great if they fit the employers need. If you are going for a business related field make sure that the schools compare to what employers want.
Example: Art institute of Houston was great but I notice that the school did not build up their students Business communications/ composition skills. The students can create great web designs but have horrible copy materials which need a lot of editing. Something many employers do not want to bother with if written material is important.
