I think the case for yes is a good one.

1) they think that the wisdom of the past has been eclipsed by them

2) They cannot admit the obvious social destruction they have engineered.

3) Rather than presenting credible aguments to refute opponents:they depend on ridicle

4) They think they are the most compassioate people who ever lived

5) They think they are the most educated people in history and have built the best cviliztion in history. Far from true.

6) They think they are invincible

Can you ad to this list. I can.
 
I've met a few that fit your descriptions. In fact, that's why I don't ever talk about politics with my liberal buddy anymore.

A good reading of history reveals that there have always been liberals, and they have always thought this way.

Greek and roman liberals argued for more welfare and theatres and bigger government at the expense of national defense and low taxes. Throughout history, liberal policies have bankrupted nations and left them vulnerable to attack.

It's the Republicans who refused stimulus money,
letting their own state suffer just to make a political point.


Mark Sanford accepted 98% of the stimulus money......but protested the remaining 2% just to make a political point.
hoping his state would still benefit while at the same time he can pretend his state didn't accept the money.


the Republicans have been voting against anything the opposing party brings to the table........including tax cuts!
Just to play politics.

Proposing an 18-page budget, & a 5-page health care plan.
 
Perhaps we are, but that is simply a byproduct of being correct on the issues. Luckily, in the United States, we are winning and have a bright future thanks to changing demographics that are in our favor. The real question people should be asking: Are U.S. conservatives the most ignorant people in the history of mankind?

Republicans

1. Overly religous, its ok to have your views but don't flaunt them in the faces of people who don't care.

2. Speak their mind and never allow anyone elses opinion, instead just bash them until they are unable to get a word out, (FOX NEWS).

3. Intolerant and hateful, fearful and have no control. (Prop 8)

4. Hate Liberals but have no real reason too.
