are laser pointer outdoors safe for my eyes?

i want to buy a laser pointer just to have fun with it but i want one that wont hurt or damage my eyes at all

Laser pointers can be fun, but just don't point it at your eyes, and you'll be fine.
Any laser could potentially harm your eyes.

With the lower powered ones, it's fine provided you aren't pointing it at any eyes, or reflecting it back at your eyes. Don't point it at aircraft either. The police will get pissed, and it can blind pilots.
