Sure, I think it's suitable. They tend to look nice with pleated skirts (especially plaid) and colorful shirts.They're great for fall and look nice with mary janes :]
Knee socks? Are you serious, last time I saw anybody wear those was 40 years ago.. I guess they're ok with a school uniform or for keeping your legs warm.
