Are Jeeps Wranglers Dangerous?

I want to buy a 2004 Jeep Wrangler but I've been told they are too dangerous for me. I am almost 22 and have a 7 month old baby. I currently own a mitsubishi spyder (convertible) I am not using the jeep for trails or anything rough. I test drove one and I fell in love. I'm kinda stuck here because My convertible obviously isn't safe and people say the jeep isn't either....so what would it matter anyway?

If you drive like a maniac any car is dangerous. Yes the jeep can roll but it is all in how you drive it. I seen a mother with 3 kids a minivan almost flip it by driving like an idiot. I absolutely love my jeep, my nieces and nephews love riding in it. I have been driving them around in it since they were a couple days old. I feel just as safe in it as I do my Dodge. I love having a 4wd to help when it snows. I feel safer in it in the snow than I do some of my previous cars. It all comes down to being a responsible parent and driver. Just make sure you buckle them in properly and drive like a parent should.

They are prone to being unstable unless you know what you're doing. Not good on gas, either. Unless you do know, I would avoid it, you don't want to roll it with you and the baby in it, do you?
