almost all new cars today have zigzag shifter and i'm very uncomfortable with that. i totally hate it. all the cars i've driven used to have straight line shifter with P, R, N, D, 2, L. Now you have to turn twits and then go around complicated curves to take it to D from P. Why so?
Thats why i'm planning to buy honda oddysey. It has simple straight shifter with P, R, N, D. I want to know. I have never used zigzag shifter and i can't imagine how that works. Why did they discontinue straight line shifter?
