I wear an 8 1/2 in womens regular shoes and I can finally afford the harley boots that I want....do they run big or small or are they true to regular sizing?

the ones I have had have been pretty true to size
I find they are very uncomfortable, however
I have blisters right now to prove it.........................

Go try some on. I see them at independent boot stores, Sears, and of course at the Harley dealership.

i usually wear them and find they do, but of course, i wear men's boots.
my wife thought she'd try some because i like mine and she found them to be very narrow, next pair she will get a small pair of men's boots, so try whatever size in men's you'd normally wear

You should always try them on.
Different companies use different lasts (the form for the boot).
Sizes will vary from maker to maker, and country to country.
Harley Davidson boots are made in China (so are Wolverine), their last shapes are different from the ones used in Europe or the U.S.

I bought a pair on eBay, and I thought the size was OK, but they were made funny. I have a rather wide foot, and I could not get my foot into them. My daughter, and my daughter-in-law, both wear the same size I do, except my daughter-in-law has a very narrow foot. Neither of them could get the boot on their foot either. It was a slip-on with a zipper, not ties. I would definitely recommend not buying them on line, but try them on in the store first. I thought I was saving a lot of money, but actually ended up with a very costly pair of boots that nobody can wear.
