M Matt C New member Sep 17, 2009 #1 are the tbi heads used on the 88 k2500 basically the same as the carbureted heads on the 86? i know the egr doesnt hookup but if i take a tbi intake and put it on the 86 heads will it bolt up?

J Johnny Rotten New member Sep 17, 2009 #2 They are the same...I have 87 TBi from a truck on my 76 chevy block...So if 76 heads will work then the 86 will too!!!!
