are games expose to get scracthed?

like i play games on my wii and get little scratches my brother told me not to worry because it happens on all the systems and its not bad because there little and the games inside the disk so it don't mess the game up the game. does your system give your games little scratches

Little scratches aren't a big deal and it seems like games always get a little scratched while being in the console. But probably you don't have to worry as long as you don't have really deep scratches or a bunch of small ones.
