I thought they were huge and that their ratings were supposed to be huge, but I was just watching Glen Beck talking crap about a bunch of stuff he seems to know very little about, and he referred to the rest of the media as main stream. But if you have huge ratings doesn't that make YOU mainstream?
the reason I posted this here is because Fox does actually seem a bit more like a political entity, rather than just plain news. Plus, I am sure I will get more answers here. And that makes it more fun for all!

Why would Glen Beck act like Fox news' not the mainstream media when it is some of the highest rated media, if not the highest in the country?
