Are Ford engines inches or metric?

I'm buying a socket set, and I wonder if purely metric will do. This is for a 2005 Ranger purchased in the USA.
and other nuts and bolts on the vehicle

I have a 2000 mustang that I bought here in the US and all the bolts I've come across so far both in the engine and from the interior are metric. So plugs like my transmission fluid require a 3/8 in. wrench (without a socket on it just the wrench itself) so as long as that's the size of the wrench I think you should be good with just metric sockets.
