Are drug tests confidential?

My dad is trying to get me a job at this one place were they require to be drug tested and I recently toked up a little weed, didn't really get high, but yeah. Does anyone know if the test comes out positive, am I the only one who will be informed? or will they tell my old man also?
An honest and will informed answer would really be appreciated.
 
Unless the test results in an arrest the results are confidential and your dad will probably not be informed, or at least should not be. If the test resulted in an arrest it becomes public information and open to anyone looking for it. Most likely if it comes up positive you will not get the job and should not get it. I would not want some junkie working next to me.
