they have no server experience? I want a waitress or server job, but when I went to a casual dining restaurant they start me as a bus girl that only gets paid $8 dollars and hour and no tips. Because I have no waitress experience. Maybey it depend on the type of Restaurant. I'm not sure, Are Diners the only type of Restaurants that start people as waiters/servers even if they have no waitress experience? I don't want to start out as a bus girl, hostess, because I really need tips to pay my bills.
