Are Chevy's reliable cars?

To be honest there are always the pick of the letter that has problems. I have never gotten a bad Ford, I have problems with 2 Chevy's I've owned in the past and I have a Kia and will never buy one again it lives at the service center.
 
the best imo... I've owned a Camaro, Silverado, and Tahoe...so far the best cars/truck ever.

Never had any issues with any of them... with the exception of a CD player in my Tahoe.
 
My family has pretty much only ever owned chevy's and we have never even had to take them in to the shop once, my uncle is a die-hard chevy fan and only will buy chevy trucks. but recently a friend told me that they are extremely unreliable cars...are we just really lucky or is my friend just retarded?

Since you have this good long family history with chevy, guess we should ask you about chevy.
You don't need your friends' advise.
