Are bug bombs good at killing red back spiders within a shed outdoors?

We live in NS Australia and we have a infestation of red back spiders in our outdoor shed, we are over daily spraying, killing with a shoe or something else handy and having to daily check our children's toys. We don't want a professional pest control, as we were told it isn't good for our veggie patch which is up against the shed, but are now wondering if a bomb set off in the shed might have an effect. And if there are any that people could recommend.

I would think it should kill them. I cannot remember the name of the one we used though. You could get them at a hardware store and ask for one especially to kill spiders.
