I was going to buy a zoo york deck but got a cyres deck instead and saved myself some cash. this board feels just as light, is made out of good canadian maple, and seems to be no different at all than any name brand board, except for the price and the fact that it doesnt have a pro skaters name on it.
does anyone know anything about this? i always feel liek the whole skateboard market is a rip off. kids paying 120 bucks for a pair of shoes just because they are name brand. 70 bucks for trucks. all this hype about brand names. what? i thought skateboarding was anti establishment?
but i would however like know if those off brand decks are good. they seem just as good as others. what about trucks? wheels? bearings?
