Are big mood swings normal when you're a teenager?

I know this sounds silly, but I've been having these huge mood swings in the last couple days.
I am having my period now, but I don't think it's that because it's never affected my mood much before.
I just switched schools, and one moment I'll feel like I'm having an amazing time and I have all these friends, and the next I'm depressed and thinking people hate me. I feel like these mood swings are so much worse than other people?
I'm not normally a depressed person...

YES! Changing Hormones, Drama at school, Parents getting on your nerves, Homework, Possibly a part-time job, preparing for college/ the future, PMS , etc.

Your at a new school, that brings anxiety and uncertainty of the change of environment. You will feel better when you adjust and make new friends.

That would make several people have mood swings. You will be okay!

Yeah, it's pretty normal. But then again, some people are depressed/have bipolar, so if it lasts for over a month you might wanna get it checked out.

Oh yes that's quite normal. Our menstraul cycles can affect us in different ways each month, both physically and emotionally. You are also young and it's normal to have mood swings. I think we all did at that age lol. I know I did at least.
You are fine. No worries. It's normal.

i gone through the same but later i found out im depressed and have anger issues also the big cause of it was cause i have pcos a medical problem wich effects you even more
