First, I absolutely stand by the analogy. This is a serious question, albeit asked in a provocative way.
I am not engaging in name calling. The phrasing of the question was a calculated risk. Some would see it as an effort to dehumanize a group of people, likening them to insects who need to be eradicated. That's a fair criticism. Those of you who responded along those lines are justified in doing so. But I want you to ask yourself something: if I had used neutral language, how many of you would have bothered to respond?
