Its seems they have not been able to truly let go and therefore seek an enemy to blame. Isn't religion really the atheist's devil they have created to indoctrinate, patronize and justify their evil inclinations and actions they intend?
I believe atheism has learned its ways from organized religion which has indeed indoctrinated many with their foolish human interpretations of the bible they call theology. There is a difference in theology and theo-thinking. God is not a religion or a belief but a person whom you get to know personally and then trust. The Holy Spirit never indoctrinates.
